Takanini Surgery is your premier health centre with doctors serv​ing areas in Takanini, Papakura and Manurewa. With a team of friendly professionals, we try our best to work towards your best possible health.

Led by principals Dr Sarah Glassey, Dr Anitha Nair and Dr Luke Wee, our vision is to provide quality, timely and attentive care to our valued patients.

We understand that it can be a struggle to find good family doctors who understands you and your family. We provide good continuity of care, easy access to appointments and minimal waiting.

​Our services are appointment-based with flexibility to those who are acutely unwell. We also aim to offer weekend General Practice appointments for those who work during the week.

Our practice is part of the Procare PHO with various health promotion and preventive health strategies that we offer to the community.

We are also affliated with Labtests Papakura and Takanini, Auckland Radiology Group (ARG) and SRG Manukau.

Dr Sarah Glassey

Dr Sarah Glassey is a GP at Takanini Surgery. She is vocationally trained GP with extensive experience in GP and Urgent Care. She had worked in this region for many years with previous GP training at Manurewa Medical and Roselands Doctors - building strong relationships with her patients locally.

Dr Luke Wee

Dr Luke Wee

Dr Luke Wee is a GP at Takanini Surgery as an Associate. He is vocationally training in both General Practice and Urgent Care. He has a wide range of medical interests and offers minor surgical procedures. ​

Dr Anitha Nair

Dr Anitha Nair

Dr Anitha Nair is a Key Partner at Takanini Surgery. She plays a key role in the Practice as Managing Director and consults with her patients from Karaka Family Health. She enjoys developing successful and innovative primary care clinics.
